Why 1/4" red acrylic?
The all-purpose workhorse and our most popular thickness. At 1/4″, acrylic is rigid enough to stand on its own in most sizes, which is why it's the default for tabletops, shelving, risers, desk shields, and protective barriers. If you're unsure which thickness to choose, this is usually the right starting point.

Red 2157 is a translucent red — it glows richly under backlight and reads as a strong, solid red by day. A staple for illuminated signage, bold retail fixtures, and colored displays. The first of several reds we stock; quote 2157 for an exact match.
