Why 1/4" fluorescent yellow acrylic?
The all-purpose workhorse and our most popular thickness. At 1/4″, acrylic is rigid enough to stand on its own in most sizes, which is why it's the default for tabletops, shelving, risers, desk shields, and protective barriers. If you're unsure which thickness to choose, this is usually the right starting point.

Fluorescent Yellow 9097 (also 2086) is a transparent neon yellow with the fluorescent edge-glow effect — cut edges appear to light up. It's a top pick for high-visibility signage, wayfinding, and edge-lit art and displays. Maximum brightness and see-through color.
