Colored plexiglass is colored acrylic — the same sheet with pigment in it, transparent, translucent or opaque. Filter by color family, finish or thickness, then pick a tile to price it. Each “from” price is the smallest standard piece in that color.
Which thickness?
1/8″ and 1/4″ are the two most ordered. Each thickness has its own page with pricing, typical uses and what to watch for at that thickness:

Plexiglass, Perspex or acrylic?
The same sheet. The material is acrylic — polymethyl methacrylate, PMMA. Two early brands of it became so familiar that their names turned into everyday words for the whole material, the way Lexan did for polycarbonate: plexiglass here, Perspex overseas (the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand). We sell acrylic by thickness and color, not by brand name. A piece ordered as plexiglass, a piece ordered as Perspex and a piece ordered as acrylic, at the same thickness, are the same thing, and they are all priced on this page.
The two-s spelling above is the everyday word, not a brand — the one-s spelling and Perspex are both registered names, and what we cut is acrylic sheet whoever made it. The longer version, with the other brand names you will run into, is in plexiglass vs. acrylic.
Need a 4×8 sheet, or something bigger than 48″?
Everything priced on this site ships by parcel, which caps a piece at 48″ on its longest side. A full 48″ × 96″ sheet, or a single piece over 48″, is quoted instead: send the size and thickness and we will tell you straight what we can supply and what it costs. If you run a shop that buys full sheets by the skid, the full-sheet program is built for that.
Questions
Is plexiglass the same as acrylic?
Yes. Plexiglass is the everyday name for acrylic sheet — the same relationship Lexan has to polycarbonate. A sheet sold as plexiglass and a sheet sold as acrylic, at the same thickness, are the same material.
Is Perspex the same as acrylic?
Yes. Perspex is a brand name for acrylic sheet — the everyday word for it overseas (the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand), the way plexiglass is the everyday word here. If a drawing or a supplier calls for Perspex, acrylic of the same thickness is what it wants, and that is what we cut.
How much does a sheet of plexiglass cost?
It depends on thickness, size and color, so we show the price for the piece rather than a rate. Pick a thickness on this page, enter the size, and the price for that exact piece appears before you add it to the cart. Clear is the least expensive; thicker sheet and colored sheet cost more.
Can I buy a 4x8 sheet of plexiglass here?
Pieces up to 48 inches on the longest side price instantly and ship by parcel. A full 48 by 96 sheet does not ship as a parcel, so it is quoted — send the size and thickness through the quote form. Shops that buy full sheets in quantity can register for the full-sheet program.
Which thickness do I need for a window or a cover?
1/8 inch for framed windows, picture glazing, covers and signs up to about two feet across. 1/4 inch when the panel spans further, stands on its own, or gets handled — counter shields, shelves, tabletop protectors. 3/8 and 1/2 inch for large panels, bases and anything that has to stay flat under load.
Can acrylic (plexiglass) be laser cut?
Yes. Acrylic is the standard laser material and cuts with a clean, polished-looking edge — one of the reasons to choose it over polycarbonate, which cannot be laser cut. If you are cutting it yourself, order it sized to your machine bed rather than trimming a full sheet.
